Are Goodyear welted shoes worth it?

Absolutely. A Goodyear Welt shoe or Goodyear Welt boot is finished using a strip of leather that usually runs along the edge of the outsole. The technology which is used to produce it was developed in 1869 by Charles Goodyear Jr., the son of Charles Goodyear.

How is it crafted? Initially, a stripe is stitched to the upper. Then, a strip of leather is paved to the pad of the shoe as a point of attachment for the sole. Subsequently, the space that is attached by the welt is loaded with cork that is porous or perforated which allows breathability.
Finally, the outsole is stitched to the welt to finish the process.

The extra layers make the shoe more supportive and water resistant, also since the sole is not directly stitched to the upper it can effortlessly be separated and resoled. So if you are looking for a pair of quality leather shoes that are also great value, then Kozasko’s Goodyear welted shoes are guaranteed to remain a staple in your wardrobe for a very long time. What is Full Grain Leather?

Full-grain leather is the toughest and most durable leather and it displays natural characteristics of leather. Since the grains are very tight, it resists moisture very well. Full-grain leather incorporates the entire grain of the hide with all the imperfections, natural marks and inherent toughness of the material. Full-grain leather looks better with time as it absorbs oils and develops a patina. The more you wear the better it looks. At kozasko, all are articles are made up of Full Grain Leather with 1.5mm thickness
